Oriflame continues to grow

Oriflame continues to make its mark in the lucrative Sri Lanka beauty market, with its strategic plan of launching a range of high quality international products to the market this year. The company has been growing rapidly in Sri Lanka, with its model of growth focused mainly on its direct sales operation. The company continues to have a high volume of sales in the network as well as in its margins, despite the global recession. This is due to the company having an expanding network of sales personnel as well as a burgeoning range of very strong product portfolios that appeal to a wide segment of customers.

The company launched the Diamond Cellular Anti-Ageing Cream, which is the latest innovation in skin beauty at an elegant event on February 27 at the CASA Colombo. Attended by the cream of Colombo's society, the theme of the night was white elegance, which was showcased from the tasteful decor to the contemporary and chic event.

The Diamond Cellular Anti-Ageing Cream created for women over 40 years, is an exceptionally rich cream that fights all visible signs of ageing, to reveal flawless skin that defies its age. This extraordinary product has two components, which consist of the Eternal Beauty Complex and the Diamond Elixir. The Eternal Beauty Complex is the secret to younger looking skin. It acts on a molecular level to prolong cell longevity - slowing down the skin's ageing process and helping to keep one's skin looking young. The Diamond Elixir, which is enriched with genuine diamond powder, infuses the skin with youthful luminance and evenness.

The product contains the Skin Brightening Active, which inhibits the key steps of melanin and pigmentation process. The Protein Complex in the product increases the production of collagen, helping to increase skin firmness and reduce wrinkles, while the Antioxidant Active protects cell energy metabolism.

Managing Director, Oriflame Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., Per Gunnarsson, said, "The launching of this product is yet another milestone for Oriflame Lanka. Genuine diamond powder is in great demand in the skin care industry and I am proud to note that we were the pioneers in developing such a product.

It was created with our accumulated knowledge in the realm of skin care and experience in delivering what the customer wants, combined with the best of science. This has given us the strong incentive to deliver distinct product brands such as the Diamond Cellular Anti Ageing cream.

Currently, we are doing very well despite the global recession. As one of the fastest growing cosmetic companies in the world, our aim is to further strengthen the corporate ideals of togetherness, spirit and passion, driving us forward to new heights for the year 2009."

Speaking on the benefits of this product, Ms. Kanny Gordon, Marketing Manager, Oriflame Lanka (Pvt) Limited, "This is a truly innovative product, which is the culmination of over 40 years of Oriflame's skincare expertise.

We are targeting a niche market as the product is specially designed for women who demand the best, who love high quality, luxury and desire to achieve the best results using just one cream. What makes it unique is its exceptional formulation, which has been developed in the Oriflame Research and Development Centre. Also, its active antioxidant ingredients whose efficacy, within the skin and at a cellular level, has proven very effective in making it a brand that is the ultimate in skin luxury."
