CRICKET: Vinod Kumar stroked a brilliant 104 with 14 fours and 1 six for Kegalu Vidyalaya in their inter-school cricket match against Vidyartha College which ended in a draw at the public grounds, Kegalle.

From the very first day this match was destined to end in a draw as Vidyartha College taking first strike batted the whole of first day and a four overs on the following day too till they were all out. In all they batted 100.4 overs. Tirantha Dissanayake top scored with 65 which had 10 fours.

Kegalu Vidyalaya batted the rest of the day in making 314 for 9 in 91 overs. The only difference was that Kegalu Vidyalaya were more enterprising in their batting.
