Musaeus College on top

SWIMMING: It was Musaeus College who triumphed in the overall championships for girls at the All-Island Girls and Boys Age Group Novices Swimming Championships and not Mahamaya College, Kandy.

Musaeus College Principal Mrs. S. Dandeniya has written to the Sunday Observer saying that the Sunday Observer of March 1st carried the wrong results.

According to the Principal, the results should read: 1. Musaeus College 128 points,

2. Mahamaya College, Kandy 109 points and 3. Viharamahadevi Balika Vidyalaya, Kiribathgoda 79 points.

The error is regretted.
