Facing a complicated setting in the efforts to
eliminate terrorism from the island nation the Government now faces
the latest blockade from LTTE sympathizers, locally and
internationally. The Sri Lankan Government never turned a blind eye
to the concerns of the international community. Striking a balance
in such a sensitive situation while meeting the requirements of the
