Mobitel gifts IT equipment to rural youth

Mobitel donated much needed IT equipment recently to YouthMax, a non profit organisation with an islandwide network of 47 independent youth organisations, with the aim of enhancing the IT skills of youth in rural areas where IT resources are scarce. 2009 has been declared the National Year of Information and Communications Technology and this effort is an opportunity for Mobitel as the National Mobile Services provider to fulfil its aspiration of empowering the rural youth of Sri Lanka through info-com knowledge.
