Nawaloka Hospitals voted most valued brand
Nawaloka Hospitals, have once again been rated the leading hospital
among LMD's top 100 companies compiled by Brand Finance, with a Brand
Value of Rs. 547 million and an Enterprise Value of Rs. 2,924 million
whilst maintaining its rating as the most valued brand in the healthcare
sector.
Deputy Chairman, Nawaloka Hospitals, Jayantha Dharmadasa said that
the last year was a landmark one for the Hospital in that a new complex
was added to the existing facility, with a host of new services and
amenities.
"With the addition of the new 80,000 square feet complex, Nawaloka
Hospitals have in total 300,000 square feet, thus making it the largest
private sector hospital complex in the country and in fact we now have a
bed capacity of 400, all in one location", said Dharmadasa.
He went on to say that with the addition of the new complex [with
ample parking facilities], Nawaloka Hospitals now have a total of 14
ultra modern surgical theatres complete with LED lights which have
laminar flow, a state-of-the-art Fertility Centre housed on the 4th
floor (where recently a 50 year old mother gave birth to triplets), as
well as the Serene Health Screening Centre where a complete medical
check up could be done.
Situated in the ground floor is the OPD section complete with an
emergency treatment unit and two separate operating theatres solely
dedicated to the needs of out patients.
Also in the OPD section is the channel consultation area where one
could channel a specialist as all the specialist consultations are now
confined to this floor.
The first floor is dedicated for the obstetric and gynaecology ward
with two separate operating theatres for the needs and services of
maternity patients, so that attention and care would be more prompt. In
keeping with modern trends there is a private delivery suite facility
available in order that husbands could be with their wife's during the
delivery procedure.
A Sleep Lab for identifying and curing sleep disorders too has been
installed on the 2nd floor, while on the 7th floor is a set of super
luxury and luxury rooms and suites, to cater to the most fastidious of
patients.
