Overwhelming win for Antonians

St. Anthony's College, Kandy at last struck a goal in 12 months when
they scored an overwhelming 58 points (4 goals, 6 tries) to 12 (1 goal,
1 try) win over Mahanama College in their schools under-20 `A' Division
Rugby Tournament match played at Nittawela yesterday.
At half time, the Antonian led 36-0.
Antonians forwards and the backs combined well which resulted in a
glut of tries. The last Antonian victory was on June 21, 2008 over
Dharmaraja College.
Scoring the tries for St. Anthony's College were No. 8 M. Arshan
Uvais (1), winger C.D. Silva (1) fly half Tharindu Chanaka (2), Prop.
Krishantha Peiris (1), centre Amila Weligampola (2), Prop. N.A.A.M.
Perera (1), Prop. Sanka Rajaguru (1), Hooker D. Dissanayake (1). Fly
half P.C. Kumara goaled four of the tries.
For Mahanama College flanker Ralston Jansz and fly half Eranda
Dissanayake scored a try each.
Eranda Dissanayake goaled one of them.
