CDB Finance head office moves to Maradana

Ltd (CDB) at No. 18, Sri Sangaraja Mawatha, Colombo 10.

Speaking on the occasion the Governor said, "Under the leadership of
the President, the country has been liberated from the clutches of
terrorism.
The biggest beneficiaries of this new beginning is the corporate and
the business community including the banking and financial services
sector. It is thus the obligation of the business community to reap the
economic benefits of this new, no-war environment and ensure that those
benefits flow to all communities across all social barriers".
The Governor also stressed the importance of banks and other
financial institutions having an inclusive approach in making available
access to credit across society.
Chief Executive Officer Mahesh Nanayakkara said that the new name,
new logo and new premises reflect a new era of change.
"This is the beginning of a new journey as a truly Sri Lankan
corporate citizen, as we re-iterate our commitment to be a true and
trustworthy friend to all our customers.
"Customers can now look forward to an exciting range of financial
services under the new CDB brand", he said.
"As a financial institution serving both rural and urban communities,
our reach has been expanded to 30 outlets covering all major cities in
the island, thus enabling us to offer customers a comprehensive range of
financial services and solutions", said Nanayakkara.
