Child needs your help

Seven-year-old Dominick Shiromi (7 year) who is suffering from a condition, hole in the heart has been advised by the Cardiologist, Dr. Gamini Galappatti of the Apollo Hospital to undergo "PDA Device Closure" at the earliest.

The surgery would cost around Rs. 400,000, which family cannot find.

Six-year-old Isurandi Nethmini Nanayakkara of `Indika', Dandeniya, Urugamuwa has undergone surgery to remove a cancer from an eye. Specialists at the Maharagama Cancer Institute have recommended regular follow-up treatment to save her life.

Her father Indika says that the child needs more than Rs. 2,000 per month for cancer treatment alone apart from vitamins and other nutritions. He is unable to foot this bill due to his family's present financial plight. He requests philanthropists and the public to assist his daughter's case by sending their financial contributions to S/A No. 9307629, Bank of Ceylon, Dickwella Branch.
