Siddhalepa celebrates anniversary

A special meeting to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Siddhalepa Company was held recently under the patronage of Prof.G.L. Peiris, Minister of Export Development and International Trade and Acting Minister of Posts and Telecommunications at the company premises at Ratmalana.

A First-Day cover was also issued at the occasion in appreciation of the services rendered by Siddhalepa in earning large amounts of foreign exchange by exporting Siddhalepa products to many countries and also for its contribution to the field of Ayurveda in Sri Lanka.

Prof. Peiris hands over the First Day Cover to Victor Hettigoda, Chairman of the Siddhalepa Group. Also in the picture are M.S. Sellasamy, Deputy Minister of Posts and Telecommunications and Asoka Hettigoda, Managing Director of the Siddhalepa Group.
