Eagle awards to sales achievers

Eagle Insurance recently held an awards night to reward and recognise the Company's top rung sales achievers in both Life and General Insurance.

The shining stars of the night outshone their colleagues in gaining higher retention among customers and providing the best financial advice and meeting new business hurdles and stood out as a benchmark in excellent customer service.

When it came to receiving grand awards for Life insurance, Ms. D.G. A. Swarna, from the Anuradhapura Regional Office was adjudged the Best Financial Services Advisor. Y.G.G.B. Yatigammana from the Kegalle Regional Office was presented with the Best Team Manager Award while Gayan Dantanarayana of the Ambalantota Regional Office emerged as The Best Distribution Manager.

Those who soared high in General insurance sales were - Mahesh Jayawarna, from the Colombo Office who was recognised as the Best Sales Person of the Year.

Malanga Galapaththi was recognised as the Best Senior Business Development Advisor.

Pushparaj Fernandopulle from the Colombo Office walked away with the Best Senior Team Leader Award while Aruna Jayasinghe of the Kotte Regional Office was adjudged the Best Team Leader.

The line-up of award winners all set a fine example in securing the trust and confidence of their customers through dedication, commitment and by providing a level of customer care that surpassed expectations, the corner stones which play a vital role in insurance sales. Members of the Eagle 'Team with Wings', the apt term for the Company's sales professionals are able to consistently achieve high targets because they receive world class training at the Company's fully equipped training facility - the Eagle Centre for Excellence, in line with the work practices and ethics spurred on by Eagle's partnership with worldwide Aviva.

Addressing the highly motivated team, Managing Director Deepal Sooriyaarachchi expressed his deep appreciation of the exemplary achievements and added saying, "Keep in mind that when you meet customers you are backed by the strength and stability of global financial giant, Aviva and NDB Bank which is a solid and respected financial entity in Sri Lanka. You take to your customers Aviva's promise that has to be delivered - 'Prosperity and peace of mind'.

In today's context customers seek only one thing - a company that can be trusted.

It is your duty and responsibility to be trustworthy and consistent in all your actions." he said.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of Awards of Excellence to distinguished persons whose achievements encouraged others to emulate them and follow their footsteps to secure success.
