FAROOK - MAYRAN NONA (Kunji) Retired staff of C.W.E., passed away peacefully on 10th July 2009. Wife of late A.W.M. Farook and loving mother of Tyronne, late Tony, Asha, Roshy and Shammy, mother-in-law of Reza, Rahim and Zaroon, grandmother of Ayesha, Shiran, Innam, Afridi, Amman and Soraya. Janaza took place on Saturday 11th July 2009 at Modara Muslim Burial Ground. No. 7, Hijra Mawatha, Modara, Moratuwa. 

HADJIANI HAMZATH HANAN Beloved wife of late Al Haj H.A. Hanan (Former M.M.C. Matale), loving mother of Raj Malik (Seylan Bank), Jabeen Malik, Mumtaz Malik & Feroze Malik, mother-in-law of Lameez (CTC), Major General Abdul Zaheer (Sri Lanka Army), Hareeza & Farzana, grandmother of Randeer (Seylan Bank), Shazan, Thanveer, Bilal, Rishi Raj, Milzer, Abdul, Jasika & Sajid, expired on 11.07.2009 and the Janaza took place the same day. 12/6, Park Road, Matale.

DIAS - ANNE  At Rest with Jesus. Mortal remains now at A.F. Raymond’s Funeral Parlour. Funeral service at Parlour at 4.00 p.m. today (Sunday). Interment at the General Cemetery (General Section) Kanatte.   

GOMES - ANIL.  Dearly beloved husband of Gayathri, loving father of Theruni, son of late Mr & Mrs Tudor Gomes, son-in-law of Mr & Mrs D.R. Wickramasinghe, brother of late Nihal and Vimal.
