Mirror to look in
We look at ourselves daily in bathroom mirrors, shop windows, car
mirrors and in many more mirrors. How do I look? How is my face? How is
my dress? How is my hair? We check our outer appearance and feel happy
if we “look good”. But at times even though we do look good we don’t
“feel good”. However much we make up our face the feeling inside will
give a reflection on the face. If the reflection is not so good we will
try hard to keep a smile.
How to check the feelings? What is the mirror for that? Take a look
at your thoughts. You will see the mirror of the mind to check your
feelings. Are your thoughts positive or negative? It is said you are
what you think. So the question is, what you think. Are you aware of
what you think?
Think of a time when you were really successful and happy. An
incident you felt “yes, I got it.” Now go back the journey. What made
you have a successful end. The powerful personality that you carried on
ended with a good result, but how did you create a powerful personality?
Can you remember the words you spoke and things you did? Very
optimistic and encouraging words with actions full of zeal and
enthusiasm would have given you the feeling of that powerful
personality. Going into further depth how did your words and actions
become so constructive at that particular moment? You must definitely
have had very powerful thought about yourself and everything around you.
Thoughts are like seeds from which our feelings, words, actions and
habits grow. Positive thoughts will automatically result in positive
feelings, words, actions and habits. Negative thoughts will result in
negative feelings, words, actions and habits.
Imagine tomorrow as you enter your office you receive a letter of
promotion! You will definitely feel thrilled by the news. With that
happiness you determine “yes, I can do this”, “I’m capable of this.”
Then you accept the promotion with courage and determination. As time
goes on even though few ups and downs occur the seed of your future
success is already planted. Hence would you ever doubt your bright
future?
But if you start with a negative thought like “Oh ! I’m not capable
of this, I can’t do this, Someone is trying to give me problems”, you
will definitely end up in a mess. Even a sickness can be taken as a
curse or a blessing. It’s your wish.

5. If a problem can be solved there is no need to worry about it. If
a problem can’t be solved what is the use of worrying?
