Inter-Eve - the guiding light

The Interact movement is one which requires the collaborative efforts of several groups in society in order to ensure the successful completion of its objectives, namely community development as well as building a social awareness within the youth of the world.

There are diverse barriers in achieving these goals which may be due to the various misconceptions and a lack of understanding that prevails among school authorities, parents and others in society. INTER-EVE is an event which would act as a forum for these issues to be highlighted, discussed and possible remedies identified, thus assisting the Interact movement to flourish in its true capacity.

INTER-EVE 2009, under its theme ‘CHANGE THROUGH IMPACT’ , would strive to achieve its mandate by bringing together Rotarians, school administrative officials, parents and Interactors: providing a viable platform for the improvement of this movement and the creation of an environment in which the need for another INTER-EVE may not arise in the future.

The evening’s proceedings would include a panel discussion on Interact related issues, two key-note addresses as well as a range of other items which would definitely prove beneficial in achieving the objectives of the project.

The event will take place on Wednesday October 7 at the Galle Face Hotel, Colombo commencing at 2.30 p.m. An initiative of the Interact District 3220, the main sponsor for INTER-EVE 2009 is 3WGE.
