Orange Electric wins silver award
Sri Lanka's foremost electrical accessories manufacture was once
again recognized as a significant contributor to the national economy by
winning the National Chamber of Exporters Silver award in the extra
large Industrial section for exports 2008. This is the second
consecutive year that the company won this prestigious award from the
chamber.
The world had not anticipated Sri Lanka to be a world class
electrical switch manufacturing destination. Global players were
surprised that Sri Lanka could design, produce, compete and export
engineering products to the world. Today Sri Lankan made Orange Electric
switches and sockets proudly stand out on shop shelves of many countries
