Seminar on HIRA

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka will be holding a One Day Training Workshop on `Industrial Hazards Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) on October 16 from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m, at the NCCSL Auditorium, 450, D.R. Wijewardene Mawatha, Colombo-10.

The Resource person will be Justin Perera, Consultant Trainer/Auditor, who is an expert in this field.

He has conducted several inspirational workshops over the past 25 years, and also conducted Safety Audits in India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand & Vietnam, on Environmental Safety, Safe Handling of Chemicals, Agrochemicals & Manufacturing Safety Methods etc, to name a few.

Although the hazards associated with industrial sites are well-known, losses continue to happen in all branches of industry. Anyone handling Synthetic or Natural Materials, Flammables, Chemicals, Machinery, Equipment etc has to be aware of these hazards.
