Dialog powers 39th Merc. Rugby 7's

The 39th three-day Mercantile Rugby Sevens Tournament, conducted by Dialog Television will commence on October 16 (Friday) at the CR and FC grounds in Colombo.

At a media briefing on Friday Dialog TV, Chief Operating Officer Suren Goonewardene said that Dialog Telecom is a prominent sponsor of Sri Lankan sports and the company is closely associated with not only rugby, but also school cricket, athletics, football, rowing and disabled sports.

He said his company also sponsored national contingents to Olympics, Paralympics, Commonwealth, Asian, SAF and FESPIC games in the past.
