The exhibition is the first ever software exhibition to be held in
Sri Lanka and is a remarkable event in the field of IT in Sri Lanka,
said Dr. Ishantha Siribaddana, Managing Director of Institute of Java

solutions for local and international trade markets, Siribaddana told a

At the exhibition, high quality e-commerce application software and
standlone industrial software products developed by skilled young Sri
Lankan professionals will be exhibited.
"Java technology has become the most powerful tool in today's
software development industry, creating ample local and international
job opportunities. Also Java is used in almost every field in the
today's competitive world," he said.
Therefore, the exhibition will be a good opportunity for anyone
willing to study Java and to open a path for a successful career while
businessmen too could get an idea on how to apply software developed
using Java into their business ventures, he said.
Around 1000 foreign delegates from 92 countries are also scheduled to
