Tourism Awards Night

The fourth Annual Graduation Ceremony of Louis Preston International - School of Tourism and Hospitality, was held on December 6. The Director General of Civil Aviation Authority, Parakrama Dissanayake, Vice President of Mackinnons American Express Travel Limited, Trevor Rajarathnam, General Manager Aviation and Travel Division, Hayleys Advantis Ltd - Ravi Widyalankara, graced the occasion.

The awards were presented to Forty Seven students who excelled in the IATA/UFTAA International Foundation and Consultant Diploma examinations in Travel & Tourism, conducted by the International Air Transport Association - Canada.

Louis Preston International is the only institute in Sri Lanka to produce students with double distinctions for both IATA/UFTAA Foundation and Consultant Diplomas.

This year, the "Best Student" was awarded to Gayan Dhanushka Edirisinghe of Classic Travels Limited for his outstanding performance in both examinations.
