Plantation sector to support President

The plantation sector has to show their gratitude to the President as during the last four years he had done a lot for the enhancement of the upcountry education. More than 4,000 teacher appointments were made. Two hundred new schools with full physical resources were also built.

Infrastructure facilities in the area about which had been developed said the former Chairman of the Teacher Liberation Front and Labour Liberal Front S. Arulsamy, he was addressing the meeting of the Estate Employees Union of Upcountry Hatton recently.

He said besides this he has honoured and recognised all the public representatives by giving deputy ministryship for all the MPs in the plantation sector.

Arulsamy said the employees of the plantation sector are all out to help to President in the forthcoming Presidential election.

He also urged everyone in the plantation sector to show their gratitude to the person who has looked into their problems.
