Two Aussies out at nervous nineties
MELBOURNE, Dec. 26 - Australia, electing to bat first, were strongly
placed at 305 for 3 at stumps on day one of their First Test against
Pakistan begun at the MCG here today.
The home team was given a perfect start with openers Steve Watson and
S. M. Katich putting on a massive 182 runs for the first wicket. But
both of them were unfortunate to be out in their nervous nineties.
Watson was the first to go when he was run out for 93.
