Kusal Ratnayake - President of D.R.C. Cricket Foundation

CRICKET: Kusal Ratnayake - a cricketer in the 1980s at Dharmaraja College, Kandy has been elected as President of D.R.C. Cricket Foundation at the AGM held at the Old Boys Headquarters.

He is also an active member of the OBA and takes an active role whenever the school plays and other games.

Speaking about the foundation, Kusal said that he intends to promote the game of cricket in various age groups by providing the necessary material that will be required by the players.

Then he will also arrange fixtures against other schools. Kusal Ratnayake said that merely playing tournament matches are not enough and for the boys to get fully involved in the game, he would also arrange for friendly matches to be played so that the cricketers will get the much needed practice with the help of the Principal and masters-in-charge.
