Speaker on UPFA National list

Health and Nutrition Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva said that Speaker W. J. M. Lokubandara would enter the next Parliament through the UPFA National List.

The Health Minister told the SLFP special convention at the Bandarawela Town Hall, under the auspices of President Mahinda Rajapaksa, that Udith Lokubandara, the son of Speaker W.J.M. Lokubandara will also contest the forthcoming parliamentary election on the UPFA ticket for the Badulla district.

Speaker Lokubandara said that he was highly impressed by President Rajapaksa’s philosophy and policies.

The President united the country eradicating terrorism and the President will develop Sri Lanka during the tenure of his next six years, he said.
