[Hide & Seek]
Sticky Ra-Blue
Ra-Blue’s blue-eyed boys said that their leader is finding it
difficult even to expect the number of preferential votes he had polled
at the last election that is general. A dejected Ra-Blue, thereupon,
summoned his inner circle and his PR company for advice. Ra-Blue’s
posters have adorned the city walls as a result.
Battle of the Reds
The Bell Boys, ignoring their basic party principles, are fighting
for preferential votes. The worst clash is in Colombo with Sunny Sandal-Netti
taking on Lucky Nippon-Arachchi, discarding their alliance leader Fonny.
Exemplary act
Na-Flower has set a good example to senior politicians clashing over
poster wars. He has instructed his supporters to stop spending on
posters and use the money to purchase books for needy school children in
Hambantota and also to embark on a canal development project. An
exemplary act, no doubt.
Checkmating Ka-Roo
Loyalists of Ra-Blue and Ka-Roo are openly clashing in the district
that is Village-Five. Fearing that his deputy would secure more
preferential votes than what he could poll in the capital city, Ra-Blue
has deployed three loyalists to dampen Ka-Roo’s campaigns so that
preferential votes in the district would be divided among all Green
seniors.
Greens to turn Blue
Johnny Boy is confident that he could turn several Greens into Blue
when they are elected Em Pees. He has already held initial discussions
with a few of them. The Green seniors have told Johnny Boy that it’s
advantageous for them to contest under the Elephant symbol and cross
over as there are enough and more Greens under the betel leaf already.
