IPL Kings – Chennai Super Kings!
Chennai Super Kings went full
blast to win in the IPL (Indian Premier League) 2010 finals beating the
Mumbai Indians by a clear margin of 22 runs. The finale was thrilling,
as expected with Sachin Tendulkar’s presence in the match, as it was
doubtful whether is would play the finale owing to his right arm injury.
  But it seems that even Sachin could not stop Dhoni’s ferocious team
who were in for the victory right from the beginning.
With hearthrob captain M.S. Dhoni (captain & wicket-keeper) leading
the team, Sri Lankan hot picks such as Muttiah Muralidaran, Thilan
Thushara and Thisara Perera also played to secure the win.
Industrialist N.Srinivasan, the vice-chairman and managing director of India Cements,
placed a winning bid of USD 91 million for the Chennai franchise of the
IPL in 2008. It was the third highest bid after more than 110 million
dollars were paid for the Mumbai and Bangalore franchises.
