Girls High School wins two titles

VB: Girls High School, Kandy won two titles at the recently concluded Volleyball Tournament held at the Peradeniya Senior College Volleyball Courts.

They were organised by the Department of Education, Kandy. GHS won the under 17 title as well as the under 15 title and became runners-up in the under 19 age group which was won by Seeta Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Kandy.

Girls High School Under 17 team beat Peradeniya Central to enter the final and in the final they beat Seeta Devi Balika to emerge Champions. In the under 15 age group, Girls High School team beat Seeta Devi to enter the final and at the final they beat Bawlana Kanishta Vidyalaya, Bawlana.
