T.T.: The promising paddler Kulanaka Hendahewa of Royal
College performed the best to win both under-15 and under-18 boys
singles titles and also to be adjudged the best player of the tournament
at the 3rd Indika/Deepika Table Tennis Academy tourney played at the MCV
Sports Club hall in Horana.
The tournament was conducted for both boys and girls in the five age
categories and a high standard of table tennis was displayed by the
participants.

Under-8 - Winner - Devmin Weerasena, (Lyceum International School)
runner-up - Isawara Dissanayake (Royal College).
Under-10 - Winner - Virunaka Hendahewa (Royal College), Runner-up -
Lithmini Mahanama (Wesley College).
Under-12 - Winner - Rumal Inthikab (Royal College), Runner-up -
Rasheed Aziz (Royal College)
Under-15 - Winner - Kulanaka Hendahewa (Royal College), Runner-up -
Abdur Aziz (Royal College)
Under-18 - Winner - Kulanaka Hendahewa (Royal College), Runner-up -
Osura Nawagamuwa (Royal College)
Best player - Kulanaka Hendahewa (Royal College)
In the only event held for parents, Mahesh Weerasena won the singles
title Udeshi Punchihewa being placed runner-up.
Chandana Perera, Secretary, Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka was
the chief guest.
