Associated Motor Finance Company (AMF) selected the totally integrated finance software solution offered by OpenArc for automation of their business operations covering leasing, hire purchase, loans, deposits management and on-line integrated general ledger. AMF selected OpenArc after careful evaluation of proposals made based on system functionality, technology used, past experience, software development standards and methodologies, and the strength of professional staff.

Having been in business for over nineteen years, primarily as a successful product based company, OpenArc has earned a reputation as a

long-term quality IT service provider specialising in business software for Merchant Banking & Finance, Stock markets, Manufacturing & Trading sectors and develops totally integrated Sri Lankan software solutions on current technology platforms such as Java, Net, Progress, and PHP.

Their flagship product InBank is a system with a user friendly graphical interface running under Microsoft Windows. It provides maximum flexibility in system implementation and can be implemented in many hardware platforms such as single user PCs, PC networks, any client server networks using operating systems such as Windows NT, Linux, and variations of Unix.

"Open Architecture concepts such as Java came in to the market much after we selected our company name and showed our commitment to develop software on such Open platforms", said Founder Chairman/CEO of OpenArc Group Daya Hettiarachchi. "We would like to lead the business software solutions development sector with an objective of providing totally integrated software solutions at affordable prices to clients in Banking & Finance, Securities Markets and Manufacturing sectors of the country. More than selling foreign software solutions in the local market we strive to develop our own local products and take them out of this market after gaining a reputation in the local market," he concluded.
