CB offers cash prizes for internet banking

Users of Commercial Bank’s (CB) internet banking service are to be rewarded with cash prizes worth Rs. 800,000 over the next eight months in a promotion launched by the bank to stimulate higher use of the facility.

customers of CB who pay bills above the value of Rs. 500 via internet banking will be eligible to enter a draw. The bank will reward 20 lucky winners each month with cash prizes of Rs. 5000 each. The promotion will run till end February 2011, and the money will be credited to the customers of respective CB accounts, the bank said.
