District Administration Program in Ampara

Over 100,000 people in the Ampara district will benefit from the second District Administration Program to be conducted by the Public Administration Ministry on August 27.

The first results-oriented program of this nature was conducted in Colombo last month under the supervision of Public Administration Minister W. D. J. Seneviratne.

According to the program, a team of Ministry officials, headed by Minister Seneviratna and Deputy Minister Dilan Perera will educate 20 Divisional Secretaries and 500 Gramaseva Niladharis in Dehiattakandiya, Samanturai, Ampara, Tirukkovil, Akkaraipattu and 15 other Divisional Secretariats on performing their duties in a quick and efficient manner.
