GHS, Kandy win two titles

NETBALL: Girls High School, Kandy won both the under 19 and under 17 netball titles at the Netball Tournament organised by the Department of Education and held recently at the Police grounds, Kandy.

The under 15 netball title was won by Mahamaya Girls College.

Under 19 Girls: Champions Girls High School, runners-up: Swarnamalee Balika, Third: Pushpadana Balika.

Under 17 Girls: Champions Girls High School, runners-up: Hillwood College, Third: Senadhikari National School, Gampola.

Under 15 Girls: Champions Mahamaya Girls College, runners-up: Hillwood College, Third: Mahawatta MMV, Kundasale.
