Standard Chartered launches priority banking services

Standard Chartered bank recently launched its priority banking services to offer its customers a personal and unique banking experience.

Priority customers can enjoy special features such as global recognition, access to international priority banking centres, remote account opening, emergency cash, ATM fee waiver, cross border OTT fee waiver, travelex foreign exchange discounts, total relationship rewards, ask once and done service, free lifetime debit card with enhanced ATM's and point of sale terminals, lifetime free platinum credit card.

"The bank has identified the priority needs of customers and offer a range of banking products and services to cater to those specific needs.

With the priority package customers will receive VIP treatment both locally and internationally", said General Manager, Premium Banking, Branch Sales and Service of Standard Chartered Bank Sri Lanka, Sanjay Wijemanne.

He also said those eligible for priority banking package include persons with a monthly income of over Rs. 250,000 or those who could deposit and maintain a balance of Rs. 5 million (USD 50,000). Priority banking customers will also receive the benefit of maintaining savings and current accounts, time deposits, special foreign investment deposit accounts, globally accepted credit card services, personal and auto loans, and bancasurance-a scheme that provides a host of insurance solutions including life, motor, health and home insurance.
