Jayasekera - oldest member of Masters Athletic Team

ATHLETICS: Here's real war veteran. H. G. P. Jayasekera, who represented Kandy district Masters Athletic Team is the oldest member of the Sri Lanka Masters Athletic Team at the Asian Masters Athletic Meet to be held in December this year. Jayasekera will be participating in the 100 metres, Discus Throw and Shot Putt events in the 80-year category.

He is the President of Ceylon War Veterans Association of World War II and Gal-Gawa Mithuro.

He is also Ex-V. C. Chairman of the Hunnasgiriya Village Council and Uda Dumbara Village Council.
