All island U-17 'A' Division Basketball Champs

 

St. Lawrence's Convent, Colombo 6 has won a prestigious basketball title beating Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya in the final of the under-17 'A' Division Basketball tournament held recently at St. Joseph's Girls School courts in Nugegoda.

Sheron Wickramaratne the captain of the St. Lawrence's team was awarded the Best Offensive Player Trophy while Tracy Plunket was awarded as the Most Valuable Player of the match award.

The victorious St. Lawrence's Convent under 17 team:
