Thomian Cricket Sixes for worthy cause - Sept. 25

CRICKET SIXES: The Inter-Collediate batch cricket sixes of Old Thomians will be on Saturday, September 25 at Mount Lavinia. The tremendous success of the tourney over the past two years promises a rip-rearing affair this year with added items for entertainment.

To accommodate the demands of the vintage class of "old boys", there the tournament will be worked off in two groups this time - the veterans (seniors) and others. There will be individual trophies to be won.

Quick tournaments of this nature enabled the completion of the first phase of the "Tuck Shop and Pavilion Renovation Project".

The fee for each team will be Rs. 10,000 and maximum of 10 players can be registered in a team for any six of them to play and given match. There will also be a match for boys and girls below 12 years.

Besides the cricket, there will be food and drinks available and music thrown in for a good measure.
