Junior hockey from Nov. 12

The Annual All Island Schools Under-13 girls and boys hockey tournament organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Hockey Association and the Kandy District Schools Hockey Association will be worked off at the Asgiriya Stadium in Kandy from November 12th to 14th with play commencing at 8.00 a.m. each day. Around 80 boys and girls schools from all parts of the island are expected to participate in this three tournament.

Last year the competition for boys was won by Zahira College, Matale but the championship for girls was shared by Visakha Vidyalaya and St. Anthony's Girls College, Kandy.
