HelpAge cards to assist elderly persons

Greeting cards are synonymous with Christmas and the New Year. Greetings to your loved ones can make a difference in the lives of elderly people.

The greeting cards printed by HelpAge Sri Lanka has provided an opportunity for people who send greeting cards during the festive season to light up the lives of needy elderly people in Sri Lanka. It is a part of their fund raising campaign.

According to HelpAge Sri Lanka those who wish to help the needy elderly people can make their contributions by purchasing HelpAge greeting cards now available in supermarkets and leading bookshops.

These greeting cards in 23 designs has a wide range.

The proceeds of these greeting cards will be used to conduct mobile medical units to provide free medical and eye care facilities for elderly people, to restore sight for the needy elderly by conducting free cataract surgeries and by providing spectacles free, provide hearing aids and medicine, to conduct programs on home care and age care and provide orthopaedic equipment.

HelpAge Sri Lanka has been conducting this project since 1986 and channelled funds for welfare projects for elderly people.
