Pest control solutions from Suren Cooke Agencies
Termites, most often referred to as white ants build their nests in
the soil and principally rely on the soil for moisture.
They commute between the wood and soil and are found in many parts of
Sri Lanka.
Suren Cooke Agencies uses a number of state-of-the-art electronic
termite detectors which include the termite detection camera, as well as
an audioscope.
Cooke said the termite detection camera locates termites which cannot
be detected visibly. Termite infestations that are visible to the naked
eye have already done a vast amount of damage.
However, through this unique detection camera termite infestation
hotspots which are invisible to the naked eye, in walls, woodwork, and
other types of flooring can be immediately detected.
Scates is a safe non toxic method which does not require hazardous
drilling of floors or other surfaces, to inject the insecticides.
This novel method can be fitted to any surface where termite colonies
consume the product.
"Unwanted drilling causes bigger damage than caused by termites.
Allergies to the injecting of insecticides can happen, which is why our
Scates is not only effective, but is also a safe and much more reliable
alternative," Cooke said.
He said the company is the recognised fumigator by the Australian
Quarantine Inspection Services (AQIS) where all fumigation services are
done according to set international guidelines.
They are also members of the British Pest Control Association which
helps update the company's technical information.
Suren Cooke Agencies has also introduced the treated mosquito net,
which is a chemical impregnated mosquito net. This product is approved
by the WHO.
The net is manufactured with the impregnated chemicals that do not
get washed away when the net is washed.
No sooner the mosquito rests on the net it meets its fate. |
