Presidential Fleet Review

The Presidential Fleet Review organised parallel to the 60th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Navy was held yesterday at the Colombo Port under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa. SLNS Sayura and eight foreign naval warships participated in this historic event. The ships were from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Russia, China, Thailand and Iran. Two of the ships, Tharangani and Mysore, were from India. The fleet review concluded with an international sail past. The final salute to the President was by SLNS Sayura. The Navy’s Fast Attack Craft P 444 and P 442 also participated.
