Congratulations to Apsara Senanayake for winning the prestigious Sunday Observer Most Popular Contestant, with a total of 14,459 votes. The glittering crown belongs to her. She moved through the competition week by week well supported by her fans, confident of the fact that in the end she will be the winner.

Becoming the Sunday Observer Most Popular Contestant, the newspaper with the largest circulation in Sri Lanka, has opened many a door for her in the advancement of her personal career.

Apsara carried home many prizes as according to the list.

Sunday Observer Most Popular Contestant wons the glittering crown, courtesy of Technique International and the Trophy from Hermes International.

The Sash was from Asian Fabrics and the Basket of Flowers gifted by Sterling Flowers. The winner was showered with gifts from Ramya Holdings, from Royal Vacations - a return air ticket to Bangalore and a gift of Indian Designer Jewellery presented by Technique International. Also a scholarship from Technique International, the Scholarship NVQ - Level 3 Beautician to the value of Rs. 30,000.

The course will be at the Technique International (Pvt), Ltd. School of Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy.
