Kandy Girls High: Basketball champs

Girls High School, Kandy became champions at the Kandy District Schools girls under 13 Basketball tournament organised by the Kandy District Basketball Association when they beat Pushpadana Girls College, Kandy 8-6 in a thriller played at Kingswood College courts, Kandy.

Tharushi Indigahawela of Girls High School was adjudged the Most Valuable Player. St. Anthony's Girls College finished second runner-up.

Colombo International College won the boys under 13 tournament by defeating St. Anthony's College 7-6 in the finals. Kiran Karaliyadde of Colombo International Schools, Kandy was adjudged the Most Valuable Player.

Azar Central College Akurana finished second runner-up.
