Special upcountry buses during festive season

Livestock Development Minister and Ceylon Workers Congress Secretary Arumugan Thondaman has requested the transport sector officials to operate special transport services in areas where estate community is densely populated during the coming Sinhala Tamil new year season.Minister has asked the authorities to operate this special service to Central Hill Country from April 12 to 18 from Colombo.

The Minister asked the authorities to conduct special bus services to Kandy, Ragala, Thalawakkele, Akkarapathana, Bogawanthalawa, Hatton, Maskeliya and Badulla areas from Colombo. Meanwhile the CTB is also looking to expand its services even to villages during the coming Sinhala Tamil festive season.
