Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage (second from

inspection tour of Mahinda Rajapakse International Stadium
in Diyagama where the National Sports Festival will be held
this year.

National Sports Festival.... Minister of Sports Mahindananda
Aluthgamage made a special visit to the Mahinda Rajapaksa International
Stadium in Diyagama to see for himself the preparations that are being
made for the National Sports Festival to be held there this year.
Sports Minister Aluthgamage was met by officials of the ministry and
officials of the athletics association.
Secretary to the Minister of Sports Udaya R. Seneviratne, Sunil
Gunawardena - Advisor on athletics, Col. Nihal Jayawardena - Project
Coordinator of the Stadium and Harsha B. Abeykoon - the Secretary of the
Ministry were also present at this occasion.
