SLI to build arcade

Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Ltd (SLI), the largest composite insurance provider in the country with an asset base of Rs 88.9 billion will build a Sri Lanka Insurance Arcade in Matugama.

Managing Director and CEO of SLI Mohan De Alwis said that the foundation stone was laid recently to build a Sri Lanka Insurance Arcade in Matugama adjoining the Southern Expressway.

The arcade will consist of food stalls, a petrol shed and a mini supermarket and will be completed during this year. The restaurants will consist of fast food outlets and fine dining restaurants to cater to everyone and will be a drive through. SLI plans to rent out spaces at least to break even. - SG
