Construct 2011 from Aug. 19-21
Themed 'Way forward, Construct 2011', the construction Industry's
largest trade fair will be held from August 19-21 at the BMICH.
Organised by the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka (NCASL)
for the 11th year, the trade fair will have 300 stalls by 260 exhibitors
(domestic and foreign), said Chairman NCASL Priyantha Perera.

A constructors' pavilion will be set up to educate the public on the
construction of houses and buildings and it will be an opportunity for
the public to make contact with reputed companies for their construction
work.
It will also disseminate the latest information on modern
construction techniques and products.
The three armed forces will display military items.
There will be many parallel shows including the CME show, floor and
wall show, Rooftech, Furniture and Interior decor show.
He said that there will be 30-35 companies from India, Singapore,
Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand showcasing their products and
services at the exhibition. GM United Tractors and Equipment, Janak
Edirisinghe said that they will display advanced products used in road
and general construction. Mini seminars will be held at the stall by
Caterpillar representatives. Nine experts from Caterpillar will come for
the exhibition.
The principal sponsor of the exhibition is Maga Engineering (Pvt) Ltd
while the other sponsors are United Tractors and Equipment, True Value
Products and the Hatton National Bank. The Print Media Sponsors are the
Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd.
