Access Natural Water to diversify

Access Natural Water (Pvt) Ltd is in the process of diversifying into water related products, said Director/Chief Operating Officer, Access Natural Water (Pvt) Ltd, Shanil Perera. He said that they will diversify into water related products to cater to the foreign market. "New innovative water related products will be introduced soon," he said.

The company celebrated its 10th anniversary recently Perera said. Natural products have a good potential locally as well as globally. Therefore, the future of the company is very bright. "We are in the growth stage of the product life cycle," he said.

The company is in the process of improving facilities, processes and systems to improve the quality of the water produced "Our unique selling point is quality. We have our factory at Udagama where the source, purification and bottling are fully automated at one location".

Access Natural Water (Pvt) Ltd, producers of Aquafresh Water is the first company to obtain SLS certification for the five gallon bottle and is the only supplier with three international standards as well two local standards.

The international standards are ISO 9001:2000 for the quality management system, ISO 22000:2005 is a HACCP based international recognised food safety certification, and Dutch HACCP provides confidence in quality and meets the expectations of consumers for safer food.

In addition we are the only water bottler to receive the UN water for life award. Our clients are 60 percent corporate and 40 percent domestic users. Aquafresh produces naturally purified spring water in five gallon as well as PET bottles.
