The excitement in the Ms Asia World Contest gains momentum. Fifteen
contestants who were selected are facing interviews which are the
preliminaries to the intricate skills they have to acquire.
The contestants will have free training in the art of make-up,
personality development, life skills and modelling for the next three
months. According to the Organisers they will also have the chances to
explore their designer skills and have the opportunity to present their
own fashion show displaying their creations. As from today readers are
invited to commence voting for the Sunday Observer, Most Popular
Contestant - a prestigious crown that over the years have seen keen
competition.
Ms Asia World in Sri Lanka is organised by Technique International (Pvt)
Ltd, School of Hairdressing, Beauty and Spa Therapy, 81/1, Horton Place,
Colombo 7 and presented in collaboration Sunday Observer, the print
media sponsor.
The official florist is Sterling Flowers, Mini title venue sponsor is
PICO events, Multi Media, Lighting Effects Sounds by AV Systems (Pvt)
Ltd.
The computer marking facilities is by Soft Logic. The other
supporting sponsors are Asian Fabrics, Boutique Fiori, Trendy wear and
Hemes International.
