New entrance to Yala Park

Another new entrance to the Ruhunu National Park, better known as ‘Yala’ will be opened today to the public. The entrance will be through the Katagamuwa sanctuary with more space for the large number of visitors to the Park.

The rich bird life could be observed from October to April. The Yala National Park spreads over 126,786 hectares.DY
