“In an era where technology has taken centre-stage in the way people work, rest and play, the world’s leading personal computer manufacturer and a leader in innovative technology, HP has created new possibilities for technology to have an impact on people, businesses, governments and society and this is the rationale behind launching HP Rapid Repair centres”, said country Manager Sri Lanka, HP personal Systems Group, Lackshmindra Fernando.

He said the objective of launching the express repair program is to offer a unique value proposition to customers, who are users of identified models. This kind of initiative will increase the perceived value for HP and in a market place where many players are competing to cater to the growing demand.

These centres will improve repair turn around time from two to three days to two to three hours, improve customer satisfaction, provide this express repair program a premium.

HP Rapid Repair Centres will offer customers of Pavilion DV4 and DV6 models the facility to get parts repaired or replaced within two hours. Parts such as the battery, adapter, DVD Rom and Key Board can be replaced through this service.

These centres will only provide support to customers who purchase HP notebooks from authorised dealers and have registered as a HP E Club member while the products have to be within the warranty period.

“The service will be available at three HP authorised service delivery partners in Colombo. It will be increased to five partners in the near future by including Kandy, South, and later islandwide” said Fernando. He said “Customers look for choice when purchasing Notebooks as they need to get a total consumer experience combining a world class product supported by exceptional after sales services.”

HP brings a portfolio that spans to printing, personal computing, software, services and IT infrastructure to solve customer problems.
