Moragoda tours Colombo North
UPFA mayoral candidate, Milinda Moragoda visited the suburbs of
Colombo North to ascertain the conditions voters were facing in these
areas.
To his consternation he found that many community centres used by
them were in a dilapidated condition. Playgrounds in these areas were
badly neglected and these playgrounds fill with water preventing
children from using them.
Moragoda also spoke to fisher communities in the Mutuwal area. He
promised the people of these areas that he would look into the matter
and if elected he would solve these problems and see that they will not
be neglected.
He also promised to set up sports clubs in these areas so that young
children will benefit the fisher community requested Moragoda to look
into the shortcomings.
They complained that they have no means of selling their produce.
